For the Institute of Research and Consulting Studies to become a distinguished centre of expertise across diverse fields of knowledge, contributing effectively to comprehensive development inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
About the institute
One of the vital entities of the Islamic University of Madinah, as an independent deanship.
Dean's message
A platform that turns knowledge into applied solutions with impact.
The Islamic University believes its mission is not limited to education; it extends to supporting development, serving society and helping address its challenges. From this role, the Institute of Research and Consulting Studies was founded as an effective link between the university and the various sectors, and a platform that turns knowledge into applied solutions with impact.
Since its launch, the institute has focused on building strategic partnerships with government, private and non-profit entities, and on delivering distinctive studies, consultations and initiatives that respond to society's needs and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 through innovative, actionable solutions — drawing on the university's scientific talent, accumulated expertise and technical capabilities.
University expertise serving comprehensive development
Driven by the Islamic University's commitment to its role in society, locally and globally, and in response to the pressing need for its research, scientific and consulting expertise, the university broadened its vision and enriched its mission. Building on its distinguished academic talent across diverse fields of knowledge, approval was granted to establish the Institute of Research and Consulting Studies by Higher Education Council resolution No. (1431/6/15) dated 26/10/1431 AH.
In full harmony with the university's vision and mission, the institute works with the academic and administrative units and harnesses the university's capabilities to deliver scientific and consulting studies and advanced training programs, for a fee, to local sectors and to branches of foreign entities in the Kingdom — directly growing the university's own resources and alternative revenue, and building effective strategic partnerships that support comprehensive development locally and globally.
